Dallas Needlework & Textile Guild |
d |
Our Purpose The purpose of this chapter is to foster the highest standards of excellence in the practice of the art of embroidery through an active program of education and study and to preserve the heritage of the art of embroidery. Dallas Needlework and Textile Guild (DN&TG) was formed in 1975 and is part of the South Central Region of the Embroiderers' Guild of America. We are based in Dallas, Texas and our membership primarily consists of individuals from the metropolitan Dallas-Fort Worth area, but we also draw members from throughout Texas, Oklahoma and such far away spots as Virginia and Florida. Our membership is comprised of all levels of skill and many areas of interest and we delight in sharing our enthusiasm for needlework of all types. We offer short programs, classes and workshops in a variety of needlework techniques. If you cross stitch, needlepoint, quilt, embroider, smock or do anything stitching-related with a threaded needle, we hope you will consider joining us. Visitors are welcome to attend up to three events before joining. Contact Us For more information, click her to contact our chapter President. |
